Safe Touch Paver Sealing washes and seals pavers. We are a locally owned and locally operated business. We are fully licensed and insured. Our employees are experienced in all aspects of cleaning and sealing pavers. We’ve been sealing pavers in the Jacksonville area for more than ten years.
Pavers are becoming more common, both in residential and commercial
contexts. They add an attractive touch that increases curb appeal and makes a positive impression on potential customers.
Sealing your pavers accomplishes several goals. It maintains the original bright coloration. It prevents weed growth and debris accumulation in the joint areas between individual pavers. Those joint areas are filled with polymerized sand, which holds pavers in place but which can be eroded by heavy rain or outflow. Sealing protects them from rain and water. Glossy sealants can give paver
surfaces an attractive shine that lasts.
Safe Touch recommends resealing on a regular basis as a part of good paver maintenance. How often pavers need to be resealed will vary, depending on the kind of paver, and how much wear and tear they experience from pedestrian and vehicular traffic. A good sealing job on pavers that experience moderate use can be expected to last somewhere between a year and a half and two years. If you notice that your pavers seem not as bright or if they just seem dull, it’s time to reseal them. Dull looking pavers reduce the attractiveness that pavers can offer.
We recommend a thorough cleaning before we reseal a paver area. Re-sanding may be needed in some areas. Safe Touch Paver Sealing works on any project. Your pavers may be a driveway, walkway, patio, entryway, garden walk or swimming pool area. Your pavers may be repurposed brick, natural stone or concrete. Safe Touch cleans and seals all of them. We’re experienced, affordable and our work is guaranteed.
